SILKWOOD

Flindersia spp.

Flindersia spp. of the family Rutaceae. Native to Australia but also found in Papua New Guinea and Hawaii. There are at least 6 species from the genus Flindersia that have silkwood as all or part of one or more of their common names, and I have no idea which of them are represented on this page.

plank listed as maple silkwood

planks listed as fiddleback maple silkwood but it definitely does NOT look like fiddleback to me; more like a very nice quilt or you might call it curly.
