Blackwood is one of those names that is, unsurprizingly, applied to many different woods. African blackwood and Tasmanian (aka Austrialian) blackwood are well known and have their own pages on this site. This page is for those blackwoods that I cannot otherwise categorize.

all of the pics in this section of this page are of wood that was listed as "Malasian blackwood", but I have no idea what that is. All of these are from the BogusColorVendor so I suspect that the orange color in the sapwood might be bogus, although in this case it might not be.
