the finish is several coats of polyurethane and the holes in the top for the dried flowers have not yet been drilled

<br>in the left pic, the vertical lamination is walnut, hard maple veneer, and padauk.  The oval lamination is Honduran mahogany and hard maple

<br>The top "V" is sycamore and the middle "V" is a lamination of bocote and ash thins.  The light wood just above the base is sycamore.  the dark brown woods are walnut and the rear oval of reddish-brown wood is makore.  Note how the makore came out slightly blotchy on the right side.
